First time panel lining. I got people say that you should first put down a clear gloss before you panel line. while other people say that panel lining on bare plastic is fine. I need help/suggestion.

When using a thinned liquid as panel line color, it flows better on a glossy surface. This also helps prevent the panel line solution from cracking ABS or otherwise permeating the plastic.
